Unit Description

This unit is designed to provide postgraduate students with a capstone research experience. The unit deals with the key learning goals of researching, writing, and preparing a paper addressing a significant economic, business and policy question or issue. Using a structured framework, students are expected to develop a research question, which is then analysed using appropriate methodology and evidentiary support. The research project encourages the student to work independently, manage their time effectively, organise their ideas, and extend and compliment their prior coursework.
