UNE has cancelled in-person, paper-based exams for Trimester 1 per government advice to avoid large indoor gatherings. Instead, all exams will either be transferred to other modes of assessment, or offered online. Unit Description

The unit comprises: (a) a research component, in which the students carry out an individual research project under the supervision of an academic staff member and present oral and written reports including a thesis of up to 14 000 words (excluding the tables, figures and references); (b) a seminar on the research topic presented at a forum ~3 weeks prior to thesis submission. Intending students should seek detailed advice from the unit coordinator.
